Planner

I LOVE to make lists, specifically lists that are color coded.  For Christmas, I was gifted with some amazing Erin Condren goodies!  I am obsessed with her stuff!  Although I am not nearly as busy here in Texas as I once was in the G-town, I still enjoy making a weekly family schedule.  If you are a busy mommy, I highly recommend this super duper fun planner!

It breaks down each week by day!

It is super fancy and looks awesome on my countertop (even the yucky apartment countertop)

I purchased my little stand for $1.99 at Wal-Mart

If you went to school with me, then you know of my pen/marker addiction!  Part of my collection enjoys sitting right here next to my beautiful planner, ready to be used!!

I received a few other Erin Condren products, one of my other favs is this dry erase clipboard...the best idea ever!  CAT-5 loves using it for practicing her weekly spelling words!

CAT-5 even got in on the action and received this fabulous note pad.  LOVE IT!!

Just a few pretties that brighten my day and hope brighten your day too!

Until next time, I'll be making a list, in color, on a pretty pad!!

First Day - March

I haven't done a First DAY post in a long while!  I am super happy to be back up and running with these ladies, it is such a great idea.  Our Saturdays in Texas typically consist of girl time in the morning (today that included breakfast, pedicures and a quick stop at Justice for some new accessories!).  Once Adam gets off we typically do a lot of riding around and checking out 'areas'. The weather was great and we got to spend some time at one of our favorite new finds, the local park!

Home Sweet Home

Saying good bye to friends is a hard thing to do...

When we made the decision to move to Griffin a little over three years ago, we packed up our house and moved away.  I felt as though I never looked back to our neighborhood, where we had once lived.  Griffin felt like home from the very first night we slept in our new house.

I LOVED the house, I LOVED the neighborhood, I LOVED the school.  I just really LOVED everything about our new place.

Over the next few years, through meetings at the park, at the school or dance classes, many friendships were made.  Cookouts and parties were had, dancing occurred, bon fires engulfed wedding rings and fake boobs were discussed but most importantly friendships were formed.

I have always had a hard time making friends, like real friends, not just the Facebook kind.

But these people,

these ladies

and gentlemen

and little babies,

I grew to love.

It was a heart felt night at our favorite local pizza place.

Pizza was consumed and tears were shed and goodbyes were hard to say.

I am so thankful for the families that shared our lives with us.

Who shared their babies with us.

Who really made our home "home".
I will forever be grateful for the times that we shared.

Thank you for being our friends...

Missing you like crazy!
